Founding of the Novokuznetsk Aviation Enterprise
The consolidation of disparate aviation groups into a single enterprise had a beneficial effect on the development of aviation in the southern Kuzbass region. The legendary Po-2 aircraft were replaced by the first An-2 aircraft in January 1953.
